Over Christmas break, I was happy to be able to visit my old drawing group in Ohio. I also stumbled upon a group in Ann Arbor (right after I moved out of town). I made the drive this weekend to check them out and it was worth it.

Painting and drawing portraits from life (versus a photograph) is a nice excuse for spending time with friends.
